Barnsdall Public Schools
Rick Loggins is a 1979 graduate of Barnsdall Public Schools. He began his career working for a major oil company before entering the field of education in 1995. He began teaching Business and Computer Technology at Tri County Technology Center in Bartlesville, OK. After a few years as a classroom teacher, he moved up into an administrative position and was eventually promoted to the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Human Resources.
In 2003, he accepted the Superintendent position at Barnsdall Public Schools. The 2011-12 school year will be his 9th year serving Barnsdall Public Schools.
Loggins has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Rogers University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Langston University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University.
He holds certification in the areas of Business and Computer Technology, Career Tech Administrator, High School Principal and Superintendent
Mr. Loggins is married to Janice and they have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. They enjoy speding time with family, serving as Pastors at the Barnsdall Free Will Baptist Church, and traveling.
